In episode 117 of his video series, Dr. Larson discusses:

I’ve been enjoying our newly formulated NewGreens Superfood drink. And I tried a recipe that came out amazingly good, so I thought I would share it with you. I started with a glass of ice, a couple of teaspoons of the superfood Superberry flavored powder, and then I added sparkling water, lime flavor. Then I mixed it all; it makes a super refreshing drink. And if you want to, you can get fancy and add some fruit like a slice of orange or lime to give a citrus punch to it. On a hot day, it is an excellent pick me up.

The NewGreens superfood powder has been completely reformulated. We went back to the drawing board and rebuilt it from the ground up, leveraging fifteen years of knowledge from the first version. And what we created was something that is unique without anything like it on the market. Most superfoods are sourced from all over the world, and the quality can’t be guaranteed. When we reformulated NewGreens, we teamed up with US organic farmers only. Using freeze-dried and sprouted ingredients allows the nutrient values to be equal to that of eating whole produce.

DR. CHAD LARSON

Most superfood supplements are just dehydrated juice. Other manufacturers take the juice out of produce and then dehydrate it; killing the essential nutrients. When you freeze-dry and sprout produce, it maintains its natural form. You will actually reconstitute the nutrient value when you mix it with water. We have a third-party validation claim that you get two full servings of produce in one drink. One serving of the NewGreens powder, or one serving from the full-size pouch, gives you two servings of produce as if you sat down and ate it. You can have a super delicious drink and also get two servings of produce all-in-one. So, drink and enjoy!
