The Promise

Comprehensive calcium formula — calcium plus D and K

High-elemental calcium with vitamins D3 and K in a vegetarian capsule.

Key ingredients and amounts

Two vegetarian capsules supply 400 mg elemental calcium (as di-calcium malate), 1,000 IU vitamin D3, and 130 mcg total vitamin K.

Calcium form

Calcium is provided as di-calcium malate (DimaCal®), a calcium source fully chelated with malate.

Vitamin K composition

Vitamin K is supplied as a combination of vitamin K1 and vitamin K2 (menaquinone‑7), contributing to the 130 mcg vitamin K content.

Capsule and size

Vegetarian cellulose capsules; available as a 180‑capsule supply.

Why It Works

How the ingredients function — roles of D and K with calcium

Each nutrient supports calcium handling and bone mineral processes in distinct ways.*

01

Vitamin D3 supports calcium uptake*

Vitamin D3 promotes intestinal calcium absorption and reduces urinary calcium loss.*

02

Vitamin K carboxylates osteocalcin

Vitamin K enables carboxylation of osteocalcin so it can bind calcium and support bone mineralization.*

03

K activates matrix Gla‑protein

Vitamin K activates matrix Gla‑protein (MGP), which supports healthy calcium metabolism in vascular tissues.*

04

K1 and K2 complementary

Adequate intake of both vitamin K1 and vitamin K2 (MK‑7) may be especially important for optimal carboxylation in aging individuals.

Calcium K/D – Calcium K/D combines di-calcium malate with vitamins D and K for optimal bone support and reduces the risk of osteoporosis†. Di-calcium malate provides a high percentage of elemental calcium, fully chelated with the Krebs cycle intermediate malate for optimal absorption. Vitamin D promotes intestinal calcium absorption and reduces urinary calcium loss. A 7-year study involving over 30,000 women indicates that combined calcium and vitamin D supplementation promotes healthy hip bones. Vitamin K enhances bone formation by carboxylating osteocalcin. This enables osteocalcin to bind to calcium and promote healthy bone mineralization. Adequate intake of vitamin K1 and K2 may be especially important for optimal carboxylation in aging individuals. By activating matrix Gla–protein (MGP), vitamin K also helps maintain healthy calcium metabolism in vascular tissues, supporting healthy vascular elasticity.*

What Is It?

Calcium K/D offers a high elemental level of calcium per capsule with vitamins K and D to support bone and cardiovascular health.*
